Case study Concrete Coating Tub and Drum Labels

Business need: Customer applied labels to Concrete coating material in Tubs and Drums. The labels are exposed to liquids and chemicals and tend to fade and peel off. Quality was a concern because the company wants to present their company name in a professional manor. Without a laminate, information exposed to abrasion and conditions causing the information to disappear over time. Labels were run on sheets so the customer found it difficult to keep track of inventory.

Solution: Develop a durable laminated flexographic label to withstand conditions on the Concrete Coating containers. The solution uses a label on rolls for easy application and keeps the labels together. Inventory is easier to control and the quantity easier to judge. Labels are organized and sized so they can run in combination, this saves money when ordering thus saving label run costs.

Result:   Customer has a label that looks good as well as performs well under the conditions. The label runs on rolls, so they don't need to find the package with the right label or mix up the labels. Business name appears on the label packaging, so their potentual customers can find out who to call to order the best coatings.
