Case study Concrete Coating Tub and Drum Labels

Business need: Customer applied labels to Concrete coating material in Tubs and Drums. The labels are exposed to liquids and chemicals and tend to fade and peel off. Quality was a concern because the company wants to present their company name in a professional manor. Without a laminate, information exposed to abrasion and conditions causing the information to disappear over time. Labels were run on sheets so the customer found it difficult to keep track of inventory.

Solution: Develop a durable laminated flexographic label to withstand conditions on the Concrete Coating containers. The solution uses a label on rolls for easy application and keeps the labels together. Inventory is easier to control and the quantity easier to judge. Labels are organized and sized so they can run in combination, this saves money when ordering thus saving label run costs.

Result:   Customer has a label that looks good as well as performs well under the conditions. The label runs on rolls, so they don't need to find the package with the right label or mix up the labels. Business name appears on the label packaging, so their potentual customers can find out who to call to order the best coatings. Label Case study Taylor Made Golf, One 2 One marketing.

Business need: Taylor Made Golf wanted to become more familiar with, and build relationships with their customers. Taylor Made Golf wished to build targeted databases focused on people who buy their products. A solution had to be inexpensive, and something customers value. An idea to produce personalized golf shaft labels was presented. Taylor Made was looking for a partner who could bring a label solution to the table. Label solutions received were based on manual plate technology. Quality was a concern, others presented labels without over laminates, which left variable information exposed to abrasion.

Solution: Develop a durable, attractive and inexpensive label/letter combination. The solution incorporates the use of electronic variable imaging on a flexographic label web press. To assure the correct customer receives their labels we designed the label piece to image the address as well as the label in one pass. Label information is over laminated, so the labels are protected from elements.
Service to Taylor Made Golf for the labels included an automated call center as well as direct access via 800#,s. Customer service representatives with database fulfillment capabilities make corrections and take calls concerning the labels.

Result:   Warrantee Card Response rates increased numerous times over what they were previously. Taylor Made Golf touched their customers in a One 2 One Personal Label relationship.
